Student data is received to the school account via a one way, read only sync from the school Student Information System (SIS), facilitated via a secure API integration, enabling the automatic creation and ongoing lifecycle management of student profiles in FocusCS for our users, with student data maintained via a weekly SIS sync schedule.

The integration method adopted by FocusCS will depend on the specific SIS platform in use by your school.

Data collected via way of our SIS integration:
Is read only in nature – FocusCS does not writeback to the school SIS.
Is limited to student data only - parent and teacher data is not collected.
Is restricted to a specific set of fields, being only those student data fields that are expressly required by FocusCS in order to perform key functions.
